The Art of Financial Literacy

Pencils scratched, sketchbooks opened, and money turned into art. That was the atmosphere at our workshop with Sharjah Art Foundation, where financial literacy found its place in a studio rather than a classroom.

Students sketched their first business ideas, mapped saving and spending through storyboards, and saw how money could be colourful, expressive, and fun. The room carried an energy that came from students connecting the subject to their own creativity.

Some children lingered after the session, holding up their drawings and asking questions that reached beyond the activity itself. They weren’t ready to stop, and that was the real success, learning that stayed alive even after the workshop ended.
